Over the course of this weekend, I've been trickling out updates to NormanNetworksITS. Don't worry, there's plenty more to come for the future as I'm not quite out of ideas yet. I'll touch on the updates that occurred this weekend briefly so you can get to checking them out!
Avatars
Just about everyone I know should know about RuneScape at this point. If you don't, you either don't know me very well or have been living under a rock - not that there's anything wrong with that! If you play RuneScape too, you can now set your RuneScape Display Name in your user profile which will display your RuneScape avatar on NormanNetworks! If you don't play RuneScape, no worries - you'll get the default "unknown player" avatar. For more information about RuneScape avatars, check out this article on the RuneScape Wiki: RuneScape Forums (Avatars)Your avatar will display next to your posts on the NormanNetworksITS forums, messages in the message center, and comments on SporTracker games! This should add a little flavor to your content.
Signatures
If you've been keeping up with the periodic updates to the NormanNetworksITS forums since their release, you'll have been aware that signatures have been a thing for a minute. When using the forums, you can visit your forum profile to set yourself a signature. This weekend, I decided - why not have signatures display in the message center and SporTracker comments, too? Well... now they do! Visit the Forums and set yourself up with a fine signature. Signatures are like a refreshing post-content chaser in case the flavors of your content were too bold because of the avatar update!RuneScape Content
Remember that RuneScape thing I mentioned a few seconds ago? While the avatars are player content, the intellectual property belongs to the developer of the game, Jagex. Down there near the bottom of every page on NormanNetworks (you know, where the copyright stuff is), we've gone ahead and referenced them so that they get credit for their work! There's also a link down there if you want to check out their game (assuming you haven't already and now you're struggling with a summertime MMORPG addiction).-Anthony and the NormanNetworksITS Team
